I am Joy and I just wanted to tell you what Heart Change has done for me. About 6 1/2 years ago, my husband committed suicide and I was at the lowest place in my entire life. I desperately needed counseling but not just any counseling would do. Through Heart Change Ministries, I found the best counseling and that was Biblical Counseling where I learned why God loved me so much and why Jesus died for me. This Biblical counseling got me through this very tough time in my life and I learned who the Creator God was and that He has a plan for my life. At HCM, I met the most lovely women, they really have a heart for God and they are striving to be His hands and feet. I would recommend HC to anyone who needs to be encouraged or helped in any situation in life. I would say that if someone was not happy with HC OR they had a grievance with them, it would be to their Hearts not changing.....and not the people at HCM. They are truly striving to be like Jesus.

Hello my name is Stephanie and this is the story of my heart change. When I first met Sonya I was in a very emotionally damaging marriage and scary place in my heart. People had taken advantage of me and hurt me for as long as I could remember. I felt worthless and beaten down. I was living out of an R.V. in a friend’s driveway. I was trapped in my bad marriage and felt I had no way out. Then someone in my life referred me to Heart Change. My life has forever changed for the better. Sonya gave me roof over my head and someone to talk to. As time went on I realized what she had actually given me was not only a home and a friend but more importantly a purpose, helping me for the first time to set goals and establish my self worth. For the longest time I felt like I was a piece of dirt. Sonya helped me to realize that not only am I a very special and loved child of God but I am a good person. Sonya gave me someone to talk to, someone to look up too. She even took the extra time to counsel me through my emotional turmoil when I needed it. I have also learned to cook! There were often times when I didn’t even have food to put on my plate, now I can cook a meal to make your mouth water. She helped me to make some new friends that are good me & that genuinely like me for me. I am not alone and a lot of that is thanks to the support and guidance of Sonya and the ministry. I’m finally in a place in my life where I feel loved and valued as the individual that I am. She is helping me to get to know God and realize my dream of becoming a part of changing people’s lives through Heart Change Ministries and the word of God. And because of her I’m starting to come to terms with my past. I could go on & on about how Heart Change has altered my life and continues to do so, on a daily basis. But no matter what happens form now on I know everything is going to be ok. I want to just stop & say thank you. So thank you for everything cause without your help I wouldn’t be here today.

I haven't spoken to my best friend, Courtney, for almost 2 months, and today I got a call from her, she told me all about Heart Change Ministries. She found you on a whim (a God-given whim for sure) and I can hear the change in her voice. The Spirit that is radiating from her it's absolutely amazing. Thank you for blessing my friend in the way you have! I thought I had lost her but God was just helping her find herself, and now she has, thru Him, using you as His hands. Thank you!

We must be doing something right when some people are not happy about the changes they need to make. We strive to meet God's approval not man's. God is the only one who brings good out of bad so keep watching

Heart Change Ministries is a place of that will say that that they are your friends and want to help you but when you become dysfunction they take their hand off of you and let you drown. They only help when it is convenient for them. Heart change can make a different in once life if you becomme a puppet and allow them to dicate to you the way they want you to go and do the do things you are told to do and not speak your mind.

What Heart Change Ministries Has Done for Me. The things I have learn since being a part of Heart Change Ministries will last a life time. I now walk with my head up high and a feel the power of God going with me. I can truly say that I am a child of God that has been brought from death into the marvelous light. Heart Change has truly given me a new look on life and a new heart transplant. Heart Change Ministries is a place where hurting women can heal and have that chance to explore the dreams of fantasy and make them a reality when she applies all that she has learned. I have learned how to act on things life has thrown out and not react and cause myself or others to be in the process of my reaction. God is truly real in my life now and I want to share with those who not ever think that they too can have their dreams become a reality. I was one of those who thought that I succeed in life with a man in my life or someone I could depend on to help me make it through the tough times. I found out through reading the scriptures and applying them to my life that I did not need anyone but my Heaven Father to fulfill my needs. So if you are in a situation you think is too hard to get out of just think and say to yourself what it says in Philippians 4:13.” I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me.” It took me along time to really believe this scripture. I was with a person who was constantly telling me I could not do anything by myself or without him. I since proved myself wrong. I hope and pray that some day you too will be able to call upon the Lord and He will be your strength. The founder Sonya Usher is a wonderful person but she is also tuff when it comes to getting you to the place where God can use you and you can be used of God. Sonya has helped me apply the Bible to my life and to everything I set out to do. I know it was a divine appointment when I met Sonya at a community networking fair at Salt Lake Community College. I truly owe a lot to Sonya for all of the hard times I gave her but she still did not allow that to distract her from helping me and doing Gods will and plan He set forth for Sonya to do. Since I made up my mind to do what God had for me to do I am now on track to become the person God had planned for me to become. I Thank you Lord for using Sonya and my life’s circumstances to get me to the dream I had 10 YEARS AGO. And that was to have my own catering business. I owe it all to the Lord and Sonya for helping my dream become a reality.
